Why Not volunteer at Horticap?

We have about 30 volunteers who perform a variety of roles for Horticap. Naturally we have many gardeners who work in the greenhouses, on-site garden, and off-site on contracts that we have to look after the grounds of businesses and private homes. But we also have volunteers in the workshop, kitchen, shop, craft makers, on our Board of Trustees and speakers who visit local clubs to tell them about Horticap. We would love to have some Fund Raising volunteers, and a Marketing volunteer. If you would like to offer a half-day or whole day, once a week then please contact us. We’ll give you a guided tour of Horticap to meet the students, staff and other volunteers so you can find out a bit more about what we do.

Why Not help us with a click?

Published on July 12, 2012, by in Latest News.

We are keen to encourage more students to attend Horticap by raising awareness of who we are and what we do. Our students are adults with learning disabilities, they come to Horticap to train in horticulture and gain all sorts of life skills. Perhaps you know someone who could benefit, if not you can still help us and the students by simply spreading the word on facebook. Please pass this message on to at least one of your friends asking them to like our facebook page.  If you do know someone who may benefit from Horticap please contact Pauline at Horticap on 01423 522876 or email info@horticap.org.

Thank you from all (students, volunteers and staff at Horticap)
