School Visits

Budding eco-warriors and nature detectives, why not come and discover?

On site at Horticap there is

  • A wildlife area
  • A pond
  • A vegetable garden
  • A bug hotel
  • Water harvesting and re-cycling
  • Composting
  • A wind turbine

and we are pleased to offer schools the opportunity to use all of these for practical training relevant to KS1 and KS2 of the national curriculum.

There is no charge for a school visit which must be pre-arranged and there are discovery packs for the children.  As we are a charity, we request a contribution for these.

There is also a room available for indoor activity.
