Volunteers
Horticap welcomes volunteers with an interest in horticulture and empathy towards adults with learning difficulties.
We are immensely fortunate to have a full team of 25 loyal and dedicated volunteers. We are even more fortunate to have a waiting list of prospective volunteers
Volunteers use their skills and experience to assist the instructors and students in propagating, cultivating and maintaining quality plants for sale in our shop.
Just like the weather, no two days are ever the same. Volunteers lend a hand throughout the year in a variety of ways - creating hanging baskets, mending fences or selling Christmas trees.
Throughout the year a wide range of fundraising events is staged. If you enjoy fundraising, opportunities are available as help is needed at all levels.
